- In 1940's the company was first
established under the name "Carding Specialists
Ltd" to design and manufacture parts for woollen
carding machine
- In 1950's the stripping roller was developed in
addition to the notorious crushrolls (which eventually
gave the company its present name of Crosrol), the
system of stripping roller and crushrollers revolutionised
cotton carding.
- In 1960's the tandem card was developed, in 1967,Crosrol
were presented with their first Queens Award to
industry.
- The MK2 card was launched at ATME'70 and MK3 card
was build in 1975; in 1977,Crosrol received the
prestigious Queens Award for Export Achievement.
